Osama Al Sharif is a Jordanian journalist and commentator based in Amman. He edited a number of Arab and English language dailies, weeklies and portals in the Gulf and Jordan and now writes political commentary and analysis for Al-Monitor and the Middle East Institute in Washington DC, Arab News in Jeddah, Gulf News in Dubai and Jordan Times in Amman.
