Palestinian 'bled to death' following shooting by Israeli soldiers
The New Arab has learnt that an 18-year-old gunshot victim was allowed to die, after Israeli forces refused to allow an ambulance reach the scene.

A Palestinian man reportedly bled to death on Thursday morning after he was shot by Israeli forces in the northern occupied West Bank.
Mohammed Jihad Hussein Harb, 18, from Qalqiliya was shot after he allegedly tried to attack an Israeli soldier with a knife at the Zaatara junction south of the city of Nablus.

Harb bled to death after Israeli forces refused to allow an ambulance through a military checkpoint, sources at the Palestinian Red Crescent told The New Arab.
Israeli troops mounted a roadblock in the area immediately after the attack and no cars were allowed through.
Photos taken at the scene by Israeli media sources show a knife next to the dead man.
According to photos seen by The New Arab, Harb was shot in his upper torso.
It is common policy among Israeli troops to shoot the lower part of the body, in order to incapacitate.
A recent review of Israeli responses found that soldiers often use unnecessary force against Palestinians, when a less lethal method could be used.
A spokesperson from the Israeli forces said Harb got off at the bus stop and walked directly at the soldiers.
He was subsequently shot after "he refused to stop and proceeded to ignore warnings."
"He continued to move toward them and at a certain point even pulled a knife out and attacked them."
It has not been able to verify whether Harb was carrying a weapon at the time.
There have been numerous historic cases, in Israel and elsewhere, where weapons of dubious origin are sometimes found near victims of police violence.Harb is one of 242 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since October 2015, the start of what many Palestinians refer to as the "third intifada" [translation: tremor, uprising].
