A video showing a Saudi girl recklessly pointing a weapon at passers-by on a public road has gone viral, sparking outrage from social media users.

The footage, which is only 20-seconds long, shows the girl on the back of a motorbike carrying a pistol.

The man who filmed the short clip is seen chasing the motorbike to confirm that the passenger was indeed holding a weapon.

The footage was also shared by the Saudi ministry of interior on its official Snapchat account.
