A heavy Sudanese troop presence helped restore calm Tuesday in the Darfur region, after three days of inter-ethnic violence claimed at least 155 lives and displaced tens of thousands.
The clashes come just two weeks after the UN peacekeeping force ended its mandate in Darfur.
