At least 166 people have been killed in violent protests which followed the murder of Hachalu Hundessa, a singer from Ethiopia’s marginalised Oromo ethnic group.
Hacahlu Hundessa had been a prominent voice in anti-government protests that led to a change in leadership in 2018. Deadly protests followed his death in the capital.
