The first song from the official soundtrack for this year's FIFA World Cup in Qatar was released Friday, hours before the final draw for the football tournament.

'Hayya Hayya (Better Together)' features US pop singer Trinidad Cardona, Nigerian-American Afropop musician Davido, and Qatari singer Aisha.

The song's accompanying music video sees the three artists performing with dancers in the desert and by the sea, and is interspersed with heartwarming scenes from previous World Cups.

“By bringing together voices from the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, this song symbolises how music – and football – can unite the world,” said FIFA Chief Commercial Officer Kay Madati.

FIFA said 'Better Together' will be performed for the first time ever at the draw for the tournament, set to kick off in the Gulf state on 21 November.

“I am blessed and honoured to exist in these exciting times, where I get to witness and be part of this huge milestone for my country, Qatar," local artist Aisha said. "It is a dream come true to perform for the FIFA World Cup final draw and be part of such an important song.”

'Better Together' was produced by Swedish-Moroccan producer RedOne, who has worked with artists including Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.

Other songs from the official World Cup soundtrack featuring "diverse musical genres that span the world" will be released as the tournament draws closer, FIFA said.

It is the first time that the tournament’s soundtrack will feature a multi-song collection, according to the football governing body.
