Egypt building collapse kills three young siblings
In one of Egypt's many building collapses, three young siblings - the oldest aged just 12 - lost their lives on Monday in the south of the country.

CAIRO: Three children in Egypt lost their lives on Monday when a two-storey building collapsed in the southern Beni Suef province, local news outlets reported.
Rescue workers managed to save at least nine other people with different injuries, including three children, the reports added.
Initial investigations revealed that the three dead children were siblings, an 11-year-old girl, and eight and 12-year-old boys. Their bodies have been transferred to the city morgue for further investigation and possible autopsy.
The reasons behind the incident have not been officially disclosed.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of buildings across Egypt are either illegally or improperly constructed, which leads to structural collapses being common in recent years.
In September, an apartment block collapsed near Cairo, leaving three people dead. One month earlier, five people lost their lives and two others were injured after a similar incident took place in the northern Nile Delta Beheira province.
