Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah was scolded by his mother this week, after the married Liverpool legend was caught on camera hugging a fan.
Salah shared a screenshot on Instagram showing his mother's response to a photo he sent her showing him hugging a woman at an event in Dubai.
"If I saw your dad doing this I'd divorce him," she scolded him in a message.
The Liverpool player was pictured hugging fans during a visit to an Adidas Originals store in Dubai.
Pictures of Salah with Lebanese actress Jessy Abdo in the store also went viral and caused a stir in Egypt, although she was not the woman in the photo embracing the Egyptian footballer.
The world-famous soccer star has been married since 2013.
The footballer emerged as a phenomenon in 2017, during his first season at Liverpool, breaking the club's scoring record for a debut season and earning the Premier League's Golden Boot award.
He was also named BBC African footballer of the year, and his crucial 95th minute penalty for Egypt against Congo in 2018 sent the North African team to the World Cup for the first time since 1990.
