Palestine reports its first coronavirus related death
A Palestinian woman in her 60s has become the first to die of coronavirus in the occupied West Bank.

The occupied West Bank recorded its first coronavirus related death, as her family were tested positive for the deadly disease, according to the Palestinian Authority.
Government spokesman Ibrahim Milhem said the patient was a woman in her 60s from the occupied village of Biddo near Ramallah.
He said the patient suffered serious deterioration in her health on Wednesday morning and her situation became critical before she was pronounced dead.
The woman’s husband and daughter have tested positive for the deadly disease, bringing up the overall total of coronavirus cases to 64.
Out of the 64 coronavirus cases in Palestine, two are in Gaza, whilst the rest are in the occupied West Bank.
Bethlehem is the epicentre of Palestine's coronavirus crisis.
The United Nations has warned that a COVID-19 outbreak in Gaza could be disastrous, given the high poverty rates and weak health system in the coastal strip under Israeli blockade since 2007.
Occupying Israeli forces are still carrying out operations in the East Jerusalem of neighbourhood of Issawiya despite restrictions imposed by the Israeli government to combat coronavirus.
