Saudi businessman dies during Egypt conference celebrating 'Sisi achievements'
A Saudi businessman collapsed and died as he gave a speech praising President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi at a conference in Egypt earlier this week.
A video circulating online showed Muhammad Al-Qahtani falling as he gave a speech during the Arab-African Conference in Cairo on Monday, which was held to 'celebrate' the "achievements of [Egyptian] President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi".
Seconds before his collapse, Al-Qahtani had described UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan - an ally of the Egyptian government - as "a dean of humanity and a man of peace".

Al-Qahtani, who was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Salam Holding Company, lived in the UAE.
His wife, Aisha Al-Jabri, was also in attendance.
The reasons behind his sudden death were not clear.
The Sisi regime has been accused of being behind grave systematic human rights violations. Tens of thousands of political prisoners are held in Egyptian prisons, some of whom have died in detention while torture is said to be common.
The country is also reeling under harsh socioeconomic conditions, partly exacerbated by the war in Ukraine.
