Turkey-Bahrain ties 'stronger' as nations work together
The envoy was praised by King Hamad for her work in deepening relations with the country and increasing collaboration.
The agency described Bahrain and Turkey as "two brotherly countries".
Çakıl thanked the king for the deepening ties between Bahrain and Turkey.
It comes a year after Ankara launched a scathing criticism of Bahrain for its deal normalising ties with Israel.
At the time, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs hit out: "The step will be a fresh blow to efforts to defend the Palestinian cause and will further embolden Israel to continue its illegal practices toward Palestine and its attempts to make the occupation of Palestinian territories permanent."
It also comes after the UAE began to fix ties with Turkey, after years of tensions.
The UAE has been on opposite sides in many of the region's conflicts.
