US woman claims to be Saudi princess, threatens to kill secret service officers

A US woman who claimed to be a Saudi crown princess threatened to kill US secret service officers and attempted to break into the White House, according to an affadavit filed by a USsecret service officer earlier this week.

LaToya Mahoney-Smith, who investigators say is known by multiple aliases, also allegedly attempted to break into the Saudi embassy in Washington D.C on multiple occasions.

According to the affadavit, she claimed that she needed to hand some classified documents to the Saudi ambassador.

Court records say that Mahoney-Smith threatened to kill the Secret Service officers tasked with removing her from the embassy grounds.

She is also accused of menacing the White House on at least one occasion, during which she "called the direct office and mobile lines of an employee of the Department of State Office of Chief of Protocol eight times, requesting to be cleared into the White House as a member of the official delegation for the meeting with the President and the Crown Prince on March 20, 2018," according to the court filing.

Mahoney-Smith was ordered to be held without bond on Thursday and will undergo a competency hearing.
