Jordanian coronavirus patient flees hospital quarantine after seeing male nurse work without gloves

A Jordanian man who tested positive for COVID-19 fled hospital quarantine on his return to the kingdom, media reported on Tuesday.
The patient, named as Yasser Saudi, bolted from Prince Hamzah Hospital in Amman and his escape has made the social media rounds.
Saudi was found at home, according to Arab News, and taken to hospital, along with his housekeeper, by security officials.
Saudi, speaking to Al-Mamlaka TV from a quarantine unit, said he left the hospital because he believed its treatment facilities were inadequate.
"When I arrived, I was met with a male nurse who was not wearing gloves, or a mask, and when I saw the quarantine quarter I decided to leave and went home to continue the self-imposed quarantine I had started," he said.
On Saturday, Jordan said it would suspend flights, close its land borders, shut down schools and places of worship, and halt public gatherings to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
