Renewed incitement from ultra-nationalist Israeli groups has prompted fresh protests in Occupied East Jerusalem.

Late last night, Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigade launched rockets into Israel. Israeli then launched airstrikes in Gaza killing 24 people, including nine children

Palestinian activists are resisting increased Israeli repression from both settler communities and soldiers, who have clamped down on the protests with rubber bullets, stun grenades, and batons. 

Palestinians in Israel have also taken to the streets to demand an end to violence against protesters in Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned of further punitive Israeli military action.
