Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant hinted on Tuesday that the country had retaliated in Iraq, Yemen and Iran for attacks carried out against it as Israel's deadly war in Gaza continues to spill over in other countries in the region.

"We are in a multi-front war and are coming under attack from seven theatres: Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Judea and Samaria [an Israeli term for the West Bank], Iraq, Yemen and Iran. We have already responded and taken action in six of these theatres," he told lawmakers.

Since Israel's brutal military onslaught broke out on October 7, the Israeli military has said it also attacked targets in Lebanon and Syria, striking Hezbollah posts and Damascus International Airport, among others.

Over 170 people have been killed in Lebanon over the past two and a half months, including civilians.

Meanwhile, in the West Bank, Israel has carried out frequent deadly raids since October 7, killing over 300 Palestinians in cities such as Jenin and Tulkarm.

Israel has killed over 21,000 Palestinians in Gaza since the beginning of its military campaign in the territory, where it has also imposed a complete siege, cutting off water, fuel and food supplies to 2.3 million people.

Concerns over diseases exacerbating the death toll have also been raised, as reports over the spread of meningitis, scabies and chickenpox have emerged.

Israel has not published such actions in Yemen, where Houthis rebels have carried out several attacks on Israel-linked ships in the Red Sea, in what they describe as undertaken actions in solidarity with Gaza.

Israel has not revealed either what kind of attacks it has carried out in Iraq, where a pro-Iran militia said last week it had fired a drone at the southern Israeli port city of Eilat.

The country has also not published any statements detailing any attacks carried out against Iran, its long-term regional foe.
