US media mogul Oprah Winfrey visits Morocco, calls it 'soul-filling'
The US television star visited the city of Marrakech for two days - a major tourism city often frequented by some of the world's biggest celebrities.

Famed US talk show host Oprah Winfrey embarked on a two-day visit to Morocco, where she immersed herself into the country’s culture and renowned touristic spots.
The television personality stayed in Marrakech, the country's top tourist destination, as well as one of the most visited cities in the world.
In a video posted on her Instagram account, the media mogul showcased the activities she partook in, such as learning carpet weaving, visiting local markets or souks and learning the traditional Dakka Marrakchia dance, which is commonly performed at weddings or celebrations.
The TV star and philanthropist also experienced local cuisine, which was served to her in a traditional Moroccan tent.

Winfrey reportedly visited Morocco with her daughter-girl, Liliane.
"I spent two beautiful days in Marrakesh, Morocco, which wasn’t enough time to experience so much magnificent culture," she said. "Thank you for a soul-filling time, Morocco," she continued.
Winfrey also stocked up on trinkets and souvenir items from the country.
On her personal blog, Winfrey also showed appreciation towards her butler, Mehdi, during her stay at Amanjena, a five-star luxury hotel in the city.
Winfrey praised and thanked him for his services, which she called "impeccable." In her blog, she described his kind gestures as leaving "a lasting heart print" on her soul.
The TV host also thanked the hotel for the warm welcome and hospitality she received.
This wasn’t the first time Winfrey visited a country in the MENA region. The billionaire mogul visited Jordan in March this year.
The talk show host, who presented and produced the long-running Oprah Winfrey show from 1986 to 2011, could be seen visiting Petra and other religious sites in the country.
Morocco is a leading tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors every year. The country, home to nine UNESCO World Heritage sites, is also frequently visited by some of the world's biggest stars, including footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Tourism is a major contributor to Morocco’s economy, and employs thousands of people in the sector.
