Back from a mission in the Gaza Strip, Louise Bichet, head of the Middle East department at NGO Doctors of the World (Medecins du Monde), describes the daily life of the population in the besieged strip.
She said people were "constantly on the lookout for food and drinking water with nothing is accessible". She added that whole public spaces have been taken over by tents full with displaced families. Bichet also called for a ceasefire so that "humanitarian aid as a whole can reach the population".
