A huge Palestinian flag was flown from the Leaning Tower of Pisa last weekend.
Students managed to access the tower to unfurl the flag.
They also lit red and green flares.
Authorities said the iconic tower was not damaged, and the protest proceeded in a respectful manner.
As Palestine solidarity protests across the world continue, Israel's war on Gaza is yet to stop.
