An elderly Emirati man lost his life on Tuesday morning when his vehicle was swept away by flash floods in Ras Al Khaimah. This torrential downpour also led to severe disruptions at Dubai International Airport, delaying or diverting flights to alternative airports. According to the National Meteorology Centre, a staggering 254 mm of rain pounded Al Ain within a mere 24 hours on Tuesday.
