Every day, Palestinians around the world wake up in the morning to instantly check if their loved ones, their friends, or favourite social media accounts in Gaza have survived yet another night of intense bombardment from Israeli forces.
This has especially been the case over the last few days, as the airstrikes increased in intensity and Israel cut off all forms of communication from the rest of the world. Journalist Motaz Azaiza sums up how the experience has been for those in Gaza itself.
